Services

Our doctors see patients based on a referral process that is typically initiated by your primary care veterinarian. The internist will review your pet’s medical records and perform a complete physical examination. Based on the findings, additional tests may be indicated. Recommendations will be explained and an estimate of cost can be provided.

Our doctors will communicate diagnostic results and recommended treatment plan with the owner and the primary care veterinarian. Depending on your pet’s problems, diagnostic testing or treatment may include the following:

  • Advanced laboratory testing of various tissues and blood samples
  • Biopsies of internal organs, bone marrow, or abnormal tissue
  • Diagnostic imaging-ultrasonography, radiography (x-rays), CT scan
  • Endoscopy of gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, or urinary tract
  • Feeding tube placement
  • Hospitalization for continuous monitoring and fluid therapy
  • Nutritional management
